Knitt'llin' Along

I hate summer for only one reason: I can never remember what day of the week it is. It's Wednesday, I think, so here are my works-in-progress!

I shouldn't really show you this one because it will be Friday's finished object, but it's all crumpled up and globular, so no harm, right? It's a shawl. It could be a bit bigger, but I had no idea until I was too far from being able to make it bigger to do so. If that makes sense (it's okay, I know it doesn't). I might have enough yarn leftover to make another. That could be fun. Lord knows I have more than enough beads to do so.

I'm also still truckin' away on my Rams & Ewes blanket. It's gorgeous. I'm in love with it. I haven't been working on it a lot, though, what with all the knitting that must be done tomorrow for Harry Potter Knitting and Crochet House Cup points (go Slytherin!) and that 4-hour comp I'm taking Friday. I'm surprisingly unstressed, however, so let's hope that I stay that way. :)

What are you working on? To see what everyone else is working on, go to Tami's blog.

  1. That blanket is just simply adorable! It also looks like a blast to knit. How are you planning on securing your steek when you cut it?

    1. It is! The designer posted a great tutorial on her blog for the crocheted steek (which I would have done anyway). I've never done it before, so we'll see how it goes!
