The beads are really great. I think I'll save their secret until I reveal the FO, but if you can't wait, I'm sure I put it in my notes on the Ravelry page. :) I can't believe how pretty they look in the yarn. Very starry! The more I knit on the shawl, the more I realize I have no idea how I'd wear it as a shawl. I think it will become a blanket instead. It's nice and warm, though it only barely covers my lap right now.
I have a long way to go. What would you (or do you) do with a large circular shawl? What would you wear it with? My last one lives on the back of my desk chair, wondering what it will do for the rest of it's life. I wonder the same thing.... :)

Most fold them over and wear them like that. Wear it out, don't keep it at home to shine in the dark!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree that you should wear this shawl. It looks so beautiful why hide it away?
ReplyDeleteIf the secret is what I think it is I'm going to be even more excited to see it finished, I'm not going to ruin the surprise for myself though. With shawls, I don't really knit them with any intention of wearing them, I'm making them for the process. Looking fantastic!
ReplyDeleteOoh, that's very pretty! I've never tried knitting with beads -- I'm a little afraid I'll leave a trail of beads all over the house. ; )
