Lovin' My Blogs
I guess Google Reader's days are numbered. I don't use it myself because Blogger has a reader, but I know some of you do. I decided to get a bit more proactive in my blogging and see what options are out there for you. I have signed up for an account with Bloglovin since it's been getting a lot of attention in the blogs I follow. It seems pretty straightforward and easy to use. AND it'll automatically import your Google Reader feeds! It did it super fast.
If you have switched to or used a different reader, let us all know! Options are good. :) And I think I've said this before, but if I need to do anything to make it easier for you to read me on your chosen reader, let me know! I'm happy to be at your service. :)
I'll be back to regular blogging this week. We got a little busy last week!

I'm using Feedly. It also imports directly from Google Reader, and works about the same way.
ReplyDeleteFeedly was the second most popular one mentioned in the blogs I read. I'm glad it's a good option too!
DeleteI just opened a bloglovin account too. I haven't even added my blog to it yet, because of Fathers Day busyness, but I think I'll enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't decided whether I'll use it much, but I like it's simplicity. I think it will automatically share my blogposts on my facebook page, so that's a definite plus! I always forget to do it manually. :/
DeleteI did use Google Reader and was totally bummed to see it go. I have looked at several alternatives and ultimately went with Feedly over Bloglovin because I find the format cleaner and more easy to customize. I think I might even like it more than Google Reader. It also imports the RSS from your Google Reader account.
ReplyDeleteAs for reading your blog on Feedly, it's working out great!

I might have to check out Feedly! I was a little bummed that Bloglovin' is so plain. Customization would be nice.
DeleteYay! I'm glad my blog works there! Thanks for reading! :)
Oooh, good to know - thanks :)
ReplyDeleteNo problem. :)
DeleteI miss poor Google Reader. I've been using Feedly for weeks now and I love it!
