Photographing Works-in-Progress

I have the hardest time photographing works in progress. My default is the close-up of a pretty stitch marker in a sea of indistinguishable knitting. It works out most of the time. But what about something a bit more visual? Maybe this will be a bit better for showing the "progress" of a work-in-progress.

  2. This is a great idea! I just discovered the "close-up of a pretty stitch marker in a sea of indistinguishable knitting" method myself, but the chalkboard outline is much more clear.

    1. It's a lot more work than I expected, haha, but it is a bit more illustrative. :)
